Giuliani Hermanos manufactures in Rafaela, Santa Fe, pellet mills designed to combine throughput, low specific energy consumption and high physical pellet quality. Control of conditioning, feeding and the die allows the PDI to be optimised, fines to be reduced and output to stay steady and repeatable.

Protection against overloads

A safety sensor stops the machine automatically in the event of an overload, protecting its main components.

Even distribution over the die

The forced feeder spreads the product across the full working width of the die, giving an even load and steadier output.

Automatic bypass

On overload it diverts the product to the cooler automatically, preventing build-up and letting the process recover quickly.

Centralised lubrication

It allows the rollers and the main bearing to be greased while the press runs, simplifying maintenance and cutting downtime.

Magnetic trap

It catches metal particles and foreign bodies in the product before they reach the press, protecting the die and the rollers.

Built-in hoist for the die

A hoist mounted on the press itself lifts and guides the die during a change, a job that otherwise needs a forklift and more than one operator.
