How is a production process sized?
Capacity is measured in tonnes per hour (t/h) of output; running hours depend on each client.
Are capacities the same across every industry?
No. They depend on a proper analysis of the raw materials available, their condition and the formulations to be processed.
Can I run 24 hours a day?
Yes, Giuliani equipment is built for the most demanding duty.

Do you deliver turnkey processes?
We deliver turnkey or partial projects, as agreed with the client.
Can I buy a single process rather than the whole plant?
Yes, and we will advise you on how to do it.
Do you fit new processes into existing plants?
Yes, we adapt and develop the engineering and assembly services each case calls for.
Is the solution designed to order?
Yes. We normally work alongside each client from day one, looking for the solution that fits their requirements.
Do I have to do the project engineering myself?
No. Giuliani can supply process engineering, civil works, cabling, pneumatics, steam and more.
Do I have to build the structures and buildings myself?
We build structures and buildings to measure, or adapt our projects to existing installations as far as possible.
Are assembly and interconnection materials included?
We can supply cabling, trays, pneumatic and steam installations, and their assembly on site.
Do I have to supply the power panels myself?
Giuliani supplies power and control panels to run every motor, drive and sensor it delivers.
Does Giuliani handle shipping of what I buy?
Giuliani arranges domestic and international freight where required.
How long does a project take?
For a single machine, 60 to 90 days; for a process, 4 to 6 months; for a complete plant, 9 to 12 months.
Does Giuliani work outside Argentina?
Yes. Giuliani equipment is currently installed in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria.

Can they be automated?
Yes. We offer different levels of automation as agreed with the client, from HMI screens through SCADA systems to the Giuliani app.
Is standalone automation available?
Yes, only the supplied process can be automated and linked to your system.
Can I link Giuliani automation to my ERP or management system?
Yes. We link our SCADA systems and the Giuliani app to various ERP and other management and invoicing systems.
Is there an app to control the plant from a phone?
Yes. The Giuliani app lets you review overall and per-formula output, batch traceability, stock records, quality and more.

Do they have safety systems?
Yes, our equipment can meet the highest industrial safety standards.
Can I replace another brand of machine with a Giuliani one?
Absolutely. We advise you on how to do it and carry out the assembly and services needed so it is not a problem.
What is the service life of Giuliani equipment?
It depends on use and maintenance, but we have machines still running after 30 years of service.
When do I need to replace Giuliani equipment?
They are usually replaced by larger Giuliani machines because the client has grown, not because the equipment is obsolete.

What warranty does Giuliani give on its equipment?
The warranty is 12 months against defects in materials or supply, excluding misuse or matters outside Giuliani's control.
Is after-sales support available?
Yes. Our spare parts department follows up with every client to keep replacement and critical parts in stock.
Do you provide staff training?
We train users in operation and maintenance, either on site or at our plant in Rafaela, Santa Fe, Argentina.
Do you repair equipment?
Yes. We repair not only Giuliani equipment: we also have the know-how to repair other brands.
Do you keep spare parts in stock?
We keep permanent stock of wear parts and other spares.
Can you supply spare parts for other brands?
Yes, our spare parts division will advise you on this.
